Vision Quest
In 2007, more than 1200 educators, students, parents and community members of the McKinley community came together to rewrite the vision and mission of the school. We recognized that high performing schools frequently assess the skills and knowledge their students need to compete and succeed. They also work collaboratively to design
a shared vision that is challenging and exciting! Vision Quest events are a series of collaborations among all stakeholders to develop our unique and important goals.
Since 2007, we have held many events to write our new vision and mission and to also examine and assess what needs to be done to ensure we are on pace to meet this vision.
This May we will once again host our annual Vision Quest Celebration to spotlight our continued progress towards our vision by 2013. We invite all to be a part of this exciting
event.
