 McKinley Technology High School is an official testing center. Adobe Certified Associate exams normally cost $65 per test, but are FREE to McKinley students and staff. Contact proctors, Mr. Iacovone or Mr. Benitez, to register and schedule an exam. Obtaining Adobe certifications provides employers with validation of your skills. Our testing center offers certifications for Adobe Flash 8 and CS3, Dreamweaver 8 and CS3, and Photoshop CS3. In an increasingly competitive world, students and instructors need to be more than familiar users of digital communications technology to be successful. Certification can help provide the added credential for instructors as well as open new opportunities for students in the 21st century. Adobe offers multiple options for students and instructors to validate their digital media skills. Now educators and students can get certified for both entry-level skills as an Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) and professional-level skills as an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE). The ACA is a credential that validates entry-level skills needed to plan, design, build, and maintain effective communications by using different forms of digital media. Developed and deployed by Certiport, each associate-level certification exam will correspond to a particular Adobe application used for digital communication. These are:

Test Results You will receive the printed result of your exam immediately upon completion of the test. After successfully completing a certification test, Certiport will mail your official certificate within 2-3 weeks. Retakes If you do not pass an exam, there is a mandatory waiting period of 7 days to re-test. There are no restrictions on the number of times you may retake a certification test.
