I didn't know that this forum existed until I just started searching the internet. I just want to wish everyone from the class of 1988 a special hello. I joined the army as soon as I finished high school and I have not lived in Washington, DC since. I am still in the army 22 years later and I currently reside in Germany. Due to deployments and other military necessities, I missed the 10 and 20 year reunions. I am hoping to make the 25th reunion, if there is one. Even though I have not lived in DC for awhile, I always pass by the school and marvel at it each time I am there. I have seen only a handful of my fellow 1988 graduates, but I hope that you are all doing well.
I would like to enroll my daughter in McKinley for the 2011-2012 school year. I printed out the application when do I turn it in. Whaat is too early? I just like to do everything early so i have no worries for enrollment.
Don't even come here its not worth the headache, Clearly you need 27.5 credits and need 100 hours of community serves. Some teachers are good and some are bad, Administration is the worst though.

Tenth grader in 1967. Bounderies changed that year and I graduated from Theodore Roosevelt, class of 1970. I will never forget McKinley Tech. I reside in Delaware now and every time I come home (DC) and drive up New York Ave. I see McKinley sitting up on the hill on the right in all its majestic splendor. I always thought I was a beautiful piece of architecture and was extremely happy when it was re-opened. I have no doubt it is beautiful. Still miss it.

I am a seventh grader . I attend hardy middle school and I am loking forward to attending Mickenly Tech for 9th grade. I also live in DC. I am commited to doing work . And I really woul dlike to get accepted to go to this school to make my parents proud . I love science im not a huge fan of math but think I can make it happen.I am also realy good with technology an dcomputer and I beleve that when that I have teh qualities to excell t this school. When I grow up I want to be a doctor does anyone think I will get accepted? and what is it like being a student at MT?
adn i would liek a student of mickenly tech to advice me on how i can achive my goal into becoming a freshman at Mickenly tech in 2012?
